Oysters by the Bay

For all those that love fresh oysters AND great ambiance, Waterbar will not disappoint. They offer featured oysters for only 1 dollar each during their happy hours. Unlike other places, their happy hours starts in the morning at 11:30am to 6:00pm EVERYDAY. You can come in anytime within the day - morning, afternoon, or evening - and indulge in happiness. The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous.
"The main floor at Waterbar features dramatic, 19-foot tall, five-foot diameter, floor-to-ceiling circular aquariums filled with an eye-catching array of fish and marine life from the Pacific Ocean, while walls of vividly illuminated fish tanks display a gallery of fresh catches available on that day's menu. The extravagant cascading raw bar, towering with shellfish and lit through glistening ice, sets the tone for the raw bar dining area. A hand-blown glass "caviar" chandelier serves as the focal point in the bar area, adding a festive sparkle to the proceedings, and the open kitchen fills the main dining room with a lively — and deliciously aromatic — brasserie ambiance." Huge windows lead your eyes to an amazing panoramic view of the ocean and Bay Bridge. Waterbar is a blissful place that will leave a smile on your face and a strong desire to return.

When it comes to sandwiches, do it Vietnamese style and you will surely save on those bucks! At Irving Cafe & Deli you can get delicious Vietnamese sandwiches at around $3.50. Add a drink and you will still only pay less than 5 dollars for lunch!
Their sandwiches are made when ordered, so you can bet on it that your sandwich will be warm, toasty, and fresh each and every time. The tasty combination sandwich is well proportioned with peppery pate, light mayo, variety of pork meat, pickled carrot, cucumber, and cilantro. The little ladies behind the counter work fast, so you will wait less than five minutes to order even though they have a good flow of customers coming in.
Irving Cafe & Deli is by far my favorite Vietnamese sandwich shop in the city. I have been going to this spot since high school, which was about a decade ago. My friend and I would cut class and delight ourselves with their yummy sandwiches. Nowadays, I visit this sandwich shop periodically when I drop off my brother to school, since it is only five minutes apart. I dread sometimes having to wake up early to drive my brother to school, but when I get the sandwiches, it makes the trip from South SF to the outer sunset of SF worthwhile.
